Visit Maldives Promotes the Sunny Side of Life at KITF 2025
Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC/Visit Maldives), together with 11 co-exhibitors, showcased the Maldives’ exceptional offerings at the Kazakhstan International Travel Fair (KITF) 2025, held from 23rd to 25th April in Almaty, Kazakhstan. KITF, established in 2001, is recognized as one of Central Asia’s leading travel and tourism fairs.
The Maldives delegation included AAA Hotels and Resorts, Reollo Travel Pvt Ltd, Splendid Asia Pvt Ltd, Roam Maldives, Try Maldives Holidays, Inner Maldives Holidays Pvt Ltd, Brennia Kottefaru, Canareef Resort Maldives, Resort Life Travel Pvt Ltd, Sojourn Maldives, and The Standard Huruvalhi Maldives. Together with MMPRC, they highlighted the Maldives’ unique appeal and strengthened connections with the Central Asian travel market.
The Maldives’ presence at KITF 2025 centered around promoting the destination’s renowned “Sunny Side of Life,” showcasing a blend of luxury, romance, adventure, and cultural richness through visually engaging displays and targeted messaging. Various interactive activities were organized to increase stand visibility and attract more visitors, ensuring that the Maldives remains top-of-mind for Central Asian travellers.
Visit Maldives’ efforts at KITF 2025 are part of a wider strategy to enhance the Maldives brand in this key market, positioning the destination as a preferred choice for year-round travel. In 2024, the Maldives welcomed 27,575 visitors from Central Asia, and by March 2025, 3,138 arrivals had already been recorded. Building on this momentum, a joint marketing campaign with PAC Group is also planned for this year.
